Iron Buddha 铁观音

Tie Guan Yin ( Iron Buddha) oolong is the most famous of oolong teas. Our loose-leaf version of this popular luxury oolong tea variety hails from the southern Fujian Province of China.  After picking the tea it goes through elaborate processing involving withering, tossing, and rolling.  Base on the modern demands, the teas produced tend to be much less roasted and much more green, floral and sweet. The brewed tea liquor is a lovely emerald green with floral hints and a lingering taste in the mouth and throat.

Tie Guan Yin tea is typically brewed using a gaiwan or a small teapot, and can be steeped multiple times. The tea is enjoyed by many people for its complex flavour and aroma.
